What you will do as a TruServ Mechanical HVAC technician

HVAC technicians keep buildings comfortable and productive.

At TrueServ Mechanical, that means you will:

  • Diagnose performance issues by reading pressures, temperatures, and controls, then identify the true root cause
  • Restore safe operation by repairing electrical faults, failed components, or airflow problems
  • Improve efficiency by cleaning coils, correcting charge and airflow, and tuning controls
  • Commission new systems so equipment is installed to spec and ready for reliable service
  • Advise facility managers on practical next steps, replacement timing, and maintenance schedules

What is the Difference Between HVAC and HVACR Technicians?

The difference is in the “R”: Refrigeration.

HVAC technicians work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
HVACR technicians do all of the above and also service refrigeration equipment like walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and supermarket cases.

At TrueServ Mechanical, many team members are cross-trained in both. This helps us support clients who rely on comfort cooling and cold storage.
